Tea Party Protests

April 16, 2009

I was at the Worcester, MA TeaParty. Over 2,000 people attended, and that is here in the Peoples Commonwealth of Taxachusetts!

Leslie Bates was at the St. Paul, Minnesota TeaParty
, which had over 8,000 people.

Some of the pictures I took are posted at PJTV.

The government is not your friend

February 14, 2009

A lesson brought home by the senseless arrest of a Boston area radio talk show host for not having car insurance in the state of Virginia after relocating, and registering & insuring his vehicle here in the Peoples Commonwealth.

Color me not surprised

February 5, 2009

Business as usual here in the democrat controlled Peoples Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

New Mass. House Speaker Robert DeLeo awash in lobbyist cash.

Meanwhile, here in the Peoples Commonwealth…

January 26, 2009

Democrat Salvatore DiMasi will resign as Massachusetts House Speaker after a scandal filled reign.

The Boston Globe notes that he is the third Massachusetts House Speaker to end their term in scandal and corruption. What the Globe doesn’t state is that DiMasi, Flaherty and Finneran are all democrats.

The democrat culture of corruption is alive and thriving in Massachusetts.

Bad Barney!

December 15, 2008

Massachusetts democrat congresscritter Barney Frank is once again pointing out why he should be removed from public office.

One of the key players being the housing/credit meltdown is now planning on telling the car companies how to run their business.

Meanwhile in the Uber-Liberal democrat stronghold of Boston

November 22, 2008

Boston City Councilman Chuck Turner is arrested by the FBI as part of the bribery and corruption investigation that netted Massachusetts State Senator Diane Wilkerson (both democrats).

Turner, a fine example of a Boston democrat, once accused US military personnel of committing rapes in Iraq, using photos from a commercial porn film as proof, and smeared former National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice as “a tool of white leaders,” like “a Jewish person working for Hitler.”

State Senator Diane Wilkerson, the poster person for the Massachusetts democrat party, attended state senate sessions with an tracking ankle bracelet when she was convicted of massive non-payment of taxes. Wilkerson was endorsed in her last run for State Senate (which she lost by a slim margin) by our democrat governor Deval Patrick.

Massachusetts Ballot Question 1

October 31, 2008

A yes vote will repeal the income tax here in the Peoples Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

I recommend not just voting yes, but HELL YES!

Our state government is corrupt and has been proven time and time again that they can’t be trusted with the citizen’s money.

Question 1 won’t stop them from raising other taxes. Already done that to the tune of some $200 million already this year.

Of course, our tax payer paid for Cadillac driving democrat governor will paint a story of doom and gloom and how orphans and the elderly will be the hardest hit. How does he know that, because that is what he is going to do instead of giving up his ride and cutting back on the wide spread waste and corruption in our state government.

How about getting read of the Mass Turnpike Authority with its six figure income board and handing control of the Pike over to the state highway department?
Here is another one, the state Liquor License Board, who get paid $85K ($100K for the chairman) for a part time job that could be handled by half of the six person staff who works for the board members.

Sadly the poster person for our state government is democrat state senator Diane Wilkerson, who is running for reelection, despite being arrested for accepting $23,500 in an FBI undercover operation. Given that Wilkerson has been reelected six times already, even after convictions for non-payment of taxes, I’d give her pretty good odds of winning.
Remember that Sen. Wilkerson had the support of our own democrat Gov. Deval Patrick. Gov. Patrick also is a strong supporter of Barak Obama. I do have some questions about his judgement in such matters.

Bottom line, the government in Massachusetts has shown itself unfit to be trusted with the money of citizens of the Commonwealth. It is time to deny them access to some of those funds.

Massachusetts democrat arrested by the FBI

October 28, 2008

Color me not surprised. In fact, the real question is what took them so long?
Multiple term democrat Massachusetts State Senator Dianne Wilkerson was charged with attempted extortion as a public official and theft of honest services as a state senator. She faces up to 20 years in prison and $250,000 in fines on each count.

This is not Senator Wilkerson’s first brush with corruption.
The number of times this fine example of the Massachusetts democrat party has been reelected: six.

Color me not surprised.

August 12, 2008

Massachusetts democrat governor Deval Patrick is planning on shooting the state economy in the back of the head by raising taxes through the roof.

Meanwhile corruption continues in the Peoples Commonwealth
,

Just as Gov. Patrick was close to shaking his “Cadillac Deval” image, his administration has disclosed that more than 500 state employees get to cruise home in gassed-up, state-owned vehicles, among them elevator inspectors, a tree climber and a bridge painter.

With gas hovering at around $4 a gallon and the state facing a billion-dollar deficit, administration spokesman Kyle Sullivan, responding to a Herald public records request, released a list of a whopping 501 officials and employees with take-home vehicles paid for by taxpayers.

The sheer size of the state’s take-home vehicles struck fiscal watchdog Michael Widmer as an eye-popping expense as state officials face a crippling budget shortfall.

“With the state running a billion-dollar deficit, every dollar counts,” said Widmer, president of the Massachusetts Taxpayers Association. “It’s time for a review of vehicle usage when you have that many being taken home.”

It’s no wonder…

May 28, 2008

the movement to drop the Massachusetts income tax is so popular.

Our current democrat Governor Deval Patrick has increased the budget of his own office by 78%.

It now costs Massachusetts taxpayers $9 million a year for the privilege of being governed by the Man Behind the Curtain.

Where is the money going? Well, you can’t expect the Cadillac of Governors to operate with a Chevrolet pit crew. So he’s bumped the paid staff up above 70, including jobs like “director of grassroots governance,” a “grassroots governance liaison” (hey, you don’t expect the director to do the “liazing” himself, do ya?) and director of online strategy.

The governor’s spokesperson, Cyndi Roy defended these new jobs by insisting “the people of Massachusetts deserve to have their voices heard.”

As long as they’re not voting on income-tax rollbacks or same-sex marriage, that is.

Another $3 million or so is being used to pay for the volunteers in Patrick’s self-aggrandizing “Commonwealth Corps” community service program. What kind of volunteers have to be paid for community service? Why, Devalunteers, of course!
