Sunday Morning Talk Shows

August 3, 2008

Former democrat operative George Swaythepopulas gave democrat Speaker of the House “San Fran Nan” Pelosi (Worst. Speaker. Ever.) free rein to spout her talking points.

Meet the Press had Senator Lieberman (moderate, sane democrat and McCain supporter) debating Senator John Kerry (far left democrat billionaire who only pays federal tax at a 12% rate, and Barak H. Obama supporter).

Update: democrat Tom Daschle, a major Obama supporter, is on Fox News Sunday. Daschle is a lying weasel. He always has been, always will be. Daschle lies boldly and with a straight face. The truth is not part of that man’s genetic makeup.

The lone Right of Center member of the Meet the Press round table made a what is probably a highly accurate prediction. He predicted that Hillary Clinton will make a good speech at the DNC, not a great speech, but a good speech. Then, in November, she will vote for John McCain.
That does make sense based on her over riding goal to take control of the White House. Her best bet to inflict her socialist policies on America is to run in 2012. She needs Senator John McCain to win in 2008 for that to happen.

Check the temperature in Satan’s summer cottage. Juan Williams is agreeing with Bill Kristol on how Obama screwed the pooch by repeatedly playing the race card.

The truth of the matter is …

January 25, 2008

…as Mr. Reynolds correctly puts it, “Media spin notwithstanding, it was Kerry, not the swiftboaters, who had to retract falsehoods.

Update: Ed Driscoll points out The Greatest Hollywood Digital Special Effects Job In History

Yes, how did the Swift Vets, on their budget, talk Industrial Light & Magic into digitally inserting Kerry into footage of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations back in 1971, and pay Rich Little for doing an outrageously over-the-top Boston Brahmin accent? (But c’mon Rich–JJJJJennnghis Kahn? isn’t that a bit too much? Nobody will believe it!) To complete the ultimate scam, ILM then digitally inserted Kerry, much like Hollywood’s Forrest Gump a decade ago, onto the set of the Dick Cavett Show from that same year. And they talked C-Span into running that footage in 2004. Amazing!

Another example of how the left really treats the Troops

November 21, 2007

By way of Flopping Aces is this story in the Chicago Sun Times of how democrats treated one Vietnam Vet who wouldn’t toe the line.

“[Steve Gardner] received a phone call from John Hurley, the veterans organizer for Kerry’s campaign. Hurley, Gardner says, asked him to come out for Kerry. He told Hurley to leave him alone and that he’d never be for Kerry. It was then Gardner says, he was threatened with, “You better watch your step. We can look into your finances.”

Next, Gardner said he received a call from Douglas Brinkley, the author of Tour of Duty: John Kerry and the Vietnam War. Brinkley told Gardner he was calling only to “fact check” the book — which was already in print. “I told him that the guy in the book is not the same guy I served with. I told him Kerry was a coward. He would patrol the middle of the river. The canals were dangerous. He wouldn’t go there unless he had another boat pushing him.”

“Twenty-four hours later, Gardner got an e-mail from his company, Millennium Information Services, informing him that his services would no longer be necessary. He was laid off in an e-mail — by the same man who only days before had congratulated him for his exemplary work in a territory which covered North and South Carolina. The e-mail stated that his position was being eliminated. Since then, he’s seen the company advertising for his old position. Gardner doesn’t have the money to sue to get the job back.”

This is how democrats “support the troops.”

A damn good question

September 19, 2007

Ace nails it:

This kid was a whiny bitch and quite frankly probably wanted to get tasered. Still I’m baffled at how security rushes in to arrest and taser a douchebag to prevent him from hurling words at a liberal like John Kerry when they don’t seem terribly bothered by lefties lobbing physical objects at conservative speakers.

The Axis of Embarrassment

April 23, 2007

By way of Transterrestrial Musings, the possibility that Saddam had a shitload of WMD, and the WMDs were moved out of the country before the US troops got there (this was after going the UN Security Councial, twice, and getting Congressional approval, including the votes of Kerry, Kennedy & Clinton).

The Republicans won’t touch this because it would reveal the incompetence of the Bush administration in failing to neutralise the danger of Iraqi WMD. The Democrats won’t touch it because it would show President Bush was right to invade Iraq in the first place. It is an axis of embarrassment.

Schumer 1 – Kerry a big fat zero

November 16, 2006

Jim over at WizBang Politics points out that the democrats are willing to cast aside their weak and wounded.

So, the newly-elected Democratic Senate Majority leadership team was gathering for a cool photo-op, with the four main players walking out of the Capitol together. Which Senator with a lousy attendance record for actual votes do you suppose showed up, uninvited, to attempt to horn in and get some free PR for his stillborn 2008 Presidential campaign?

You guessed it! John “Magic Hat” Kerry, in the flesh. Sticking his ugly Lurch face into the camera shot, until Schumer confronts him and tells him to get the hell outta there.

An accurate definition…

“Swiftboating” — a coordinated effort to let the voters know the truth about a candidate.

The Duck Rule Is In Effect

November 4, 2006

Having been in the Navy we would assume that Mr. Kerry knows how to swim.

Which is a nice skill to have when one rides around with Ted Kennedy.

Let us review DNC/MSM Journalism ethics…

May 17, 2005

The following was sent to Michelle Malkin:

Just for the sake of argument let’s say the Newsweek article was true. No one’s pointing out that Newsweek is the same publication that had a non-disclosure agreement with the Kerry campaign last fall. The editors agreed that anything their reporters discovered while “embedded” with Kerry/Edwards would not be published until after the ’04 election. So let me get this straight… Agreeing not to air Kerry’s dirty laundry during a political campaign is fine and dandy. But not airing Gitmo’s dirty laundry during the War on Terror would be a compromise of journalistic ethics. Got it.

As a wise woman said, “They win in the dark; we win in the light.”

This is Harsh!

December 21, 2004

Far left extremist Kos jumps on the blame Kerry bandwagon with both feat!

But what makes me angry was Kerry and his gang’s inability to take advantage of the situation. I may regret saying this later, but fuck it — they should be lined up and shot. There’s no reason they should’ve lost to this joker. “I voted for the $87 billion, then I voted against it.” That wasn’t nuance. That was idiocy. And with a primary campaign that consisted entirely of “I’m the most electable”, Kerry entered the general without a core philosophy or articulated vision for the job.

A Kerry presidency would’ve been an unmitigated disaster

Kos then advises the democrats to try and win back the American public by LYING! (hey, why change horses in midstream?)

The Democrats need to offer an alternative agenda over the next four years. It won’t be enacted, so they can shoot for the moon. The hell with good policy, make proposals that sound great. The GOP used flag burning and gay marriage to rally their side. We can find equivalents. Don’t worry about them becoming law
