He’s probably right

September 3, 2008

Glenn Reynolds made the following comment:

HOW THEY COULD HAVE KEPT THE PALIN PREGNANCY STORY OUT OF THE PRESS: Leaked it that John Edwards was the father . . .

Yup…pretty much dead, balls on, accurate.

The real story.

August 13, 2008

Let us keep in mind that the real story isn’t that democrat candidate for President cheated on his cancer stricken wife and lied to the American public. Hell, since Billy Jeff Clinton lowered the bar on screwing around, cheating on your wife is considered Presidential behavior in leftist democrat circles.

The real story is the DNC/MSM deliberately ignored the story for so long.

They were quick to publish rumors about Senator McCain and a blond lobbyist, even through they admitted they were rumors, but sat on a much firmer story about democrat presidential candidate John “Silky Pony” Edwards.

The question now being raised is if the DNC/MSM media blackout over John Edwards and his blond mistress cost Hillary Rodham Clinton the win in Iowa?

If Hillary had won Iowa, which she probably would have if the “independent media” was doing their job and exposed Edwards for the lying adulterer that he is, Obama would have never picked up the early momentum he rode to victories in mostly caucus states.

You can bet that the PUMAs are going to pick up on this. Things may get interesting in Denver.

Follow the Money

August 12, 2008

As the man who wrote the screenplay said, “Follow the Money.”

The Man Who Paid Off Edwards’ Mistress Is Now Fund Raising For Obama.

ABC News reports:

The Dallas Morning News over the weekend profiled Fred Baron, the chairman of Sen. John Edwards’ campaign finance committees in both his 2004 and 2008 presidential campaigns.

Baron also, as you may know, has been paying significant lumps of cash to Edwards’ former mistress Rielle Hunter, and others involved in the scandal.

Baron claims Edwards knew nothing about it, and Edwards told ABC News Friday the same.

The article states that Baron is currently “raising money for nominee-to-be Barack Obama.”

One thing you should have learned about this is that the truth is just not in democrat John Edwards.

Hiding may be Obama’s best bet

August 10, 2008

With Senator John McCain rising the polls, Barak Obama is going into hiding under the guise of a ‘family vacation’ in Hawaii.

As Rob at SayAnything points out, “People tend to like the idea of Barack Obama a lot more than the reality.”

When the key centrist voters who are going to decide the election, look closely at Obama, they aren’t liking what they see.

Getting out of the harsh light of reality is perhaps Obama’s best bet for getting his numbers up. It also gives him an excuse to keep avoiding debates with Senator John McCain.

Hiding from the American people and the press also saves Obama the embarrassment of answering questions about his possible VP pick John “Silky Pony” Edwards. Questions that he never had to answer because of the DNC/MSM’s news black out on the Edwards sex scandal.

Left wing censorship protects the Silky Pony

July 28, 2008

The LA Times tells its “bloggers” to ignore the story about John Edwards cheating on his cancer stricken wife and the illegitimate baby his mistress had by him.

Ala points out that even Wikipedia has put a gag order on this story.

The Silky Pony endorsement

May 15, 2008

One term Senator John Edwards, who couldn’t even carry his own state when he was part of the losing Kerry/Edwards ticket in 2004, gave his endorsement to Barak H. Obama.
In a careful calculated move to move Hillary Rodham Clinton‘s stunning 41 point victory over Obama in West Virginia off the media front page, the former trial lawyer and Gulfstream liberal made his announcement.
Clearly Edwards is trying to salvage his political career by attaching himself to Obama. My bet is that he is bucking for the VP slot.

The buzz is that Edwards will bring “white, working-class voters” to the Obama camp. A demographic Obama has not being doing well with (unlike Monica Lewinski’s ex-boyfriend’s wife). I’m not buying into that fantasy. Edwards is a creature of the hard far left extremist liberal end of the democrat party, just like Barak Hussein Obama. Getting the same nutroots worked up into a frenzy isn’t going to add to the number of votes Obama is going to need in the general election.
Just look back to the primary results from South Carolina: Obama 55%, Clinton 27%, John “Silky Pony” Edwards trailing with a pathetic 18%.
The Kentucky primary is coming up and HRC will probably beat Obama there as well.
Her campaign staff is probably happy with Edwards endorsement pick, since they don’t want that silky albatross around their necks.

Obama crushes Clinton in South Carolina

January 27, 2008

According to ABC News, Barark Obama crushed Hillary Rodham Clinton, with a record breaking heavy voter turnout, by a whopping 55% to 27%, with John “Silky Pony” Edwards trailing in his home state democrat primary with a pathetic 18%.

HRC can thank her husband Bill‘s embarrassing behavior for a large part of her crushing defeat.
Billy Jeff is downplaying Hillary’s defeat by playing the race card, yet again.

Another reporter asked what it said about Obama that it “took two people to beat him.” Clinton again passed. “That’s’ just bait, too. Jesse Jackson won South Carolina twice, in ‘84 and ‘88. And he ran a good campaign. Senator Obama’s run a good campaign here, he’s run a good campaign everywhere.”

The reference to Jackson seemed a way to downplay today’s result in a state where a majority of voters are African American.

Michelle Malkin points out that some of the poll numbers are really damaging to HRC.
Black women, who she was hoping would vote with their gender identity, voted for Obama 82-17. Obama also beat HRC in getting the votes of women overall, 61% to 39%.
Even Edwards beat HRC among white voters 39% to 36%.

In all, an embarrassing and crushing defeat for Hillary Rodham Clinton and Billy Jeff Clinton. One they will try to spin as a fluke caused by black voters daring to leave the Clinton plantation.

On to New Hampshire!

January 4, 2008

It’s official, the “Inevitable” winner Hillary Rodham Clinton got her considerable ass kicked by both the guy who was a state legislator in a fly over state a few years ago and the fear mongering Breck Boy in Iowa. Obama beat her by a solid nine points! She couldn’t even beat a class warfare trial lawyer who couldn’t even carry his own state in the 2004 elections. A very poor showing for the woman who be Queen.

Update: Two telling items from Iowa. One, Obama beat HRC among women democrat voters. That bears repeating, Barak Hussein Obama got more support than Hillary Rodham Clinton did in what should have been her core support group. Two, Over 70% of democrat voters in Iowa voted for somebody other than She Would Be Queen, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Iowa Predictions

January 2, 2008

By way of Rightwing Sparkle comes this:

Political Wire got an advance look at a new Strategic Vision poll in Iowa that shows Sen. Barack Obama leading the Democratic presidential race with 32% support, followed by John Edwards at 29% and Sen. Hillary Clinton at 27%.

I know that less than 10% of Iowa voters bother to caucus, and that poll shows Obama, Edwards and Mrs. Bill Clinton in pretty much a dead heat.

It would be cool to see Hillary Rodham Clinton get her “Inevitability” train derailed through by her coming in third, behind Obama and the Breck Boy.

Interesting enough, Obama, Edwards, Clinton is how Bob Nowak calls it, with Governor Richardson coming in fourth.

UPDATE: Hillary must be running scared about coming in third as well. Bryan at Hot Air notes that she is engaging in an “ass covering” exercise, or as he puts it “Embarrassment Prevention 101.”
ABC News puts a more pro-HRC spin on it:

As the presidential candidates engage in furious pre-caucus spin, one of Sen. Hillary Clinton’s most prominent Iowa supporters said Wednesday that she’s already accomplished what she needs to in Iowa and can declare success even if she finishes in third place.

That is what we in the reality shared by rational adults call “bullshit.” HRC has been claiming to the anointed front runner with her victories a matter of “inevitability.” Getting beat by some one who was a state senator in a “flyover state” a few years ago and the Breck Boy is a major loss, no matter how much she and her political attack machine try to lie about it.

Dems in a 3 Way in Iowa

November 20, 2007

According to MarketWatch, it’s pretty much a three way tie between HRC, Obama and the Breck Boy in the upcoming Iowa Primary!
