“I can think of no better reason to vote against Obama than the prospect of an administration where any criticism of the President is treated as racism.”
The proof, this AP story showing how leftists are using any excuse to accuse any possible criticism of our Dear Leader as racism.
Our Dear Leader‘s Energy Secretary is demonstrating that he is perfect Obama pick. He’s out there making rookie mistakes and doesn’t know just what his job covers.
Fast Facts about the Democrats’ economic rescue plan:
• The plan establishes at least 32 new government programs at a cost of over $136 billion. That means more than a third of this plan’s spending provisions are dedicated to creating new government programs.
• Even though the legislation contains at least 152 separate spending proposals, the authors of the plan can only say that 34 have any chance at keeping or growing jobs.
• The Congressional Budget Office has issued a report showing that much of the stimulus spending would not occur quickly and therefore won’t help the economy now.
• Although the proposal has been billed as a transportation and infrastructure investment package, in actuality only $30 billion of the bill – or three percent – is for road and highway spending.
• Examples of pet projects Democrats wanted included in the rescue plan:
$600 million for new cars for the federal government.
$335 million for STD prevention
$50 million in funding for the National Endowment of the Arts.
$44 million for repairs to U.S. Department of Agriculture headquarters.
$200 million for the National Mall, including $21 million for sod.
$4 billion in assistance for “nonprofit entities or consortia of nonprofit entities” including ACORN, which is currently under criminal investigation.
This is clearly more about pork barrel spending and political payback to democrat supporters than is about “stimulating” the US economy. At least know we know what the democrats priorities are.
You remember ACORN, the far left extremist group that is under FBI investigation for massive and widespread voter fraud (probably not after our Dear Leader’s new anti-Civil Rights AG takes office).
ACORN is lining up at trough to get their share of Pork the democrats are pouring into what is supposed to be an economic stimulus bill.
The liberal culture of corruption is alive and thriving under the reign of “hope and change.”
Anita MonCrief, an ACORN whistle-blower who worked for both it and its Project Vote registration affiliate from 2005 until early this year, agrees. “It’s ludicrous to say that fake registrations can’t become fraudulent votes,” she told me. “I assure you that if you can get them on the rolls you can get them to vote, especially using absentee ballots.” MonCrief, a 29-year old University of Alabama graduate who wanted to become part of the civil rights movement, worked as a strategic consultant for ACORN as well as a development associate with Project Vote and sat in on meetings with the national staffs of both groups. She has given me documents that back up many of her statements, including one that indicates that the goal of ACORN’s New Mexico affiliate was that only 40 percent of its submitted registrations had to be valid.
MonCrief also told me that some ACORN affiliates had a conscious strategy of flooding voter registration offices with suspect last-minute forms in part to create confusion and chaos that would make it more likely suspect voters would be allowed to cast ballots by overworked officials.
There are already documented examples of fraudulent registrations being converted into fraudulent votes in Ohio, where ACORN and other groups were active. Darrell Nash, an ACORN registration worker, submitted an illegal form for himself and then cast a paper ballot during the state’s “early voting” period.
Franklin County prosecutor Ron O’Brien also cracked down in the case of 13 out-of-state registrants who came to Ohio to register voters in Columbus for the group Vote From Home. The group all lived out of the same rented 1,175-square-foot house in Ohio, registered to vote and then most of them either cast early voting ballots or submitted applications for absentee ballots before leaving the state. They have agreed to have all of their ballots canceled in exchange for the prosecutor’s decision not to file charges.
There is no question to where these illegal votes are going. The ties between ACORN and Barak Obama are strong and go back to his days as a “community organizer.” Remember that Barack Obama himself has given instruction to ACORN on “get out the vote” techniques. His campaign has also given ACORN $800,000 in this election cycle for “get out the vote” work.
The big buzz on the left has been how much the McCain/Palin campaign has been spending on Gov. Palin’s wardrobe. If that is what gets their shorts in a knot, instead of say the complete and utter inexperience of Barak Obama, or the $800,000 the Obama campaign gave to ACORN, no wonder they have issues…
Besides, the real scandal here is that the Republicans are actually paying cash money for Gov. Palin’s clothes. Big name democrats, like Hillary Clinton, don’t pay for their $6,000+ pantsuits. They expect designers to give the expensive clothes to them for free.
The Los Angeles Times reported earlier this year that Senator Clinton’s custom made pantsuits from Forest were worth about $6,350 a piece retail. Clinton’s spokespeople did not respond to requests for comment.
Now they are linked to illegal vote fraud in New Mexico. Close to 100 fraudulent voter registration forms were found, including ones filled out with the line up of the 80’s pop band, Duran-Duran.
Evidence has been presented that shows at least 28 of those registrants had cast ballots in the state primary.
Indiana is one of the hotly contested toss up states in this election cycle.
I’m expecting lawsuits to be filed before all the votes are counted on November 4.
One reason being that there are currently more people registered to vote in that state than there are eligible voters!
Let every vote count, is the Democratic Party’s mantra these days. That slo gan might better be: Let every vote count as often as we need to win.
Such, at any rate, are the tactics of ACORN, Barack Obama’s favorite “community organizers,” and its Project Vote – of which, the Democratic presidential candidate has boasted, “I started working as the director… here in Chicago.”
ACORN has been implicated in voter-fraud schemes in 15 states – including Ohio, from where The Post’s Jeane MacIntosh reports today that a Board of Elections investigation has unearthed evidence of widespread voter fraud.
