It’s official, democrats really do don’t support US Troops

July 28, 2008

Here is yet another example by way of SayAnything.

No Support From Democrat Congress For Making Voting Easier For Deployed Troops

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Rep. Roy Blunt, the House Republican whip, on July 8 introduced a resolution demanding that the Defense Department better enable U.S. military personnel overseas to vote in the November elections. That act was followed by silence. Democrats normally leap on an opportunity to find fault with the Bush Pentagon. But not a single Democrat joined Blunt as a co-sponsor, and an all-Republican proposal cannot pass in the Democratic-controlled House.

Analysis by the federal Election Assistance Commission, rejecting inflated Defense Department voting claims, estimated overseas and absentee military voting for the 2006 midterm elections at a disgracefully low 5.5 percent. The quality of voting statistics is so poor that there is no way to tell how many of the slightly over 330,000 votes actually were sent in by the absentee military voters and their dependents and how many by civilian Americans living abroad—6 million all total.

Let’s review this concept. Democrats are all for making it easier for illegal aliens to vote, as well as the dead in Chicago (a solid Obama voting block), but when it comes to supporting the Civil Rights of American Military Service Men & Women, they fight against those Civil Rights.

Rob explains why the democrats are against the basic Civil Rights of US Military personnel:

Want to know why Democrats want to make it easier for ex-cons and welfare cases to vote but not deployed soldiers? Because ex-cons and welfare cases tend to vote Democrat.

Soldiers tend to vote Republican.

That’s the simple, cynical truth of it.

Remember that these are the same democrats who sent squads of hit lawyers out in Florida to deny the Civil Rights of US military personnel serving overseas, back when Al Gore was trying to steal the election in November of 2000.

Left wing censorship protects the Silky Pony

The LA Times tells its “bloggers” to ignore the story about John Edwards cheating on his cancer stricken wife and the illegitimate baby his mistress had by him.

Ala points out that even Wikipedia has put a gag order on this story.

That wasn’t an interview, it was a donation to BO’s campaign

July 27, 2008

Tom Brokaw was pitching underhand softballs to Barak H. Obama on Meet the Press today. No followups, just allowing BO to recite his talking points. I wouldn’t be surprised if some NBC staffer slipped BO the questions in advance.

NBC should just write the cost of that show off as a campaign contribution to Barak H. Obama and the Soros wing of the DNC.

Another one the lefties got wrong…

Oil down, dollar up since Bush rescinded drilling restrictions

Remember the leftist mantra about how “if we started drilling now, it wouldn’t effect prices for 10 years.” Well, they got that wrong too, just like Barak Obama’s predictions about the Troop Surge in Iraq. 100%, flat out wrong again. Yes, there is a pattern here.

According Rasmussen polls:

“The belief that reporters are trying to help Barack Obama win the fall campaign has grown by five percentage points over the past month.”

“A separate survey released this morning also found that 50% of voters believe most reporters want to make the economy seem worse than it is. A plurality believes that the media has also tried to make the war in Iraq appear worse that it really is.”

The press is so in the tank for Obama, that even some of the press is starting to bitch about it. Such as Andrea Mitchell referring to the “fake interviews” with Barak H. Obama in Iraq.

He probably did…

Classical Values asks the following question about Barak H. Obama:

I wonder if he slept through his Constitutional Law classes.

Based on previous statements, I’d say he probably did sleep through them, including the ones he was supposed to have taught.

Ratings lower than Dick Nixon just before he resigned

July 18, 2008

Don’t let the nutroots bamboozle you, we’re not talking about President George W. Bush. His numbers are still up in the “Give ’em Hell” Harry Truman range.

Nope, President Dick Nixon poll numbers were 9 points higher two weeks before he resigned than those of the current democrat mismanaged Congress.

Dismal, single digit approval ratings that are the result of the failed leadership of the worst congressional leadership ever, “San Fran” Nancy Pelosi and Harry “Lets destroy the economy” Reid.

It is fair and accurate to say that the Pelosi/Reid “lead” congress has been an Utter and Dismal Failure.
