We’ll be waiting a long time…

October 31, 2007

Ron Silver, a democrat who just fornicating gets it, makes the following observation about Chris Matthews, of Hardball infamy:

I guess the final straw was when Chris, whom I like personally, ridiculed the President for bringing up the junta’s crackdown in Burma before the U.N. His panel of experts then went mockingly on its way to make jokes about Burma Shave commercials and basically who cares. The next day the Burmese regime started killing the monks and many others. No apologies yet from MSNBC.

I’m not expecting that apology anytime before the heat death of the Universe.

How did that report get out of Turtle Bay?

Oxblog notes this anomaly:

That may seem pretty obvious, but I consider it a small victory when even the UN recognizes that anti-American forces are the actual perpetrators of crimes against humanity.

Err America’s Randi Rhodes was apparently sober enough to walk into the studio without out falling down and hurting herself when put forth the far hard extremist left fantasy that Blackwater employees may have set the California wildfires.

This once again raises the question of just which “reality” they are based in. It certainly isn’t the one rational adults inhabit.

Speaking Truth to Tranzi Power

October 29, 2007

Kudos to Tom Lantos (D-CA), yes a democrat, for giving a needed verbal bitch slap to the socialists/Transnational Progressives that make up the excuse for a Dutch government.

…The Dutch sent these politicians here to bitch about Gitmo. No reporter attended a meeting between the Dutch and the congressman, but AP wrote a story based on Green Party legislator Mariko Peters.

The Dutch are threatening to remove their 1,600 troops from Afghanistan to protest Gitmo. Dutch politicians face growing problems with Islamic youths and likely fear a L’Intifada like France suffered in 2005.

Peters said: “We have to close Guantanamo because it symbolizes for me everything that is wrong with this war on terror.”

To which Lantos apparently replied: “Europe was not as outraged by Auschwitz as by Guantanamo Bay”

I’m expecting the moonbat Kos Kiddies to start calling for his destruction over this departure from the far hard left extremist orthodoxy.

What is not surprising is the level of vile racist and sexist insults used against this minority woman by the so-called “tolerant” left.

What if a Republican Said It…?

Ala points out the bias and hypocrisy of the MSM/DNC:

“…In what the Washington Post is describing as a “stumble,” Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden said in an interview with the paper Wednesday that Washington’s high minority population is one of the reasons for the city’s education problems.

Explaining why schools in Iowa are performing better than those in Washington, D.C., Biden told the Post, “There’s less than one percent of the population of Iowa that is African American. There is probably less than four of five percent that are minorities. What is in Washington? So look, it goes back to what you start off with, what you’re dealing with.”

“When you have children coming from dysfunctional homes, when you have children coming from homes where there’s no books, where the mother from the time they’re born doesn’t talk to them — as opposed to the mother in Iowa who’s sitting out there and talks to them, the kid starts out with a 300 word larger vocabulary at age three. Half this education gap exists before the kid steps foot in the classroom,” the Delaware Democrat added…”

Ala asks the key question: “Can you even imagine what would be happening right now if Bush, Thompson or Romney had uttered these words?”

The answer is painfully obvious, it would be the story leading the MSM/DNC for how ever long it took for which ever Republican who said it to withdraw from the Presidential race.

Rob at Say Anything points out:

What amazes me is that nobody in the media seems willing to report on the fact that CIA Agent Valerie Plame, in a fit of nepotism, sent her own husband on a mission to Niger with the distinctly partisan agenda of seeking to undermine his foreign policy. A trip that her husband then subsequently misrepresented to fit said agenda in a report to the New York Times.

What amazes me is that there are people who really do think Libby committed “treason” (despite the fact that it was known from the start that a State Department official blabbed first), yet know nothing about Sandy Berger’s theft and destruction of classified documents associated with the Clinton Administration and their lackluster response to terrorist attacks.

Congressional democrats are planning the largest individual income tax increase in history.
Here are some details:

The bill will add a 4% surtax on Americans earning more than $150,000 a year ($200,000 for couples). That is on top of the scheduled expiration of the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts. So, under Democrats’ plan, over the next few years, the individual income top tax rate in the United States will rise from 35% to 44%.

Rangel’s bill will erode the value of a series of tax deductions – including for mortgage interest, charitable giving, medical expenses, state and local taxes, and the standard deduction. And, because the surtax kicks in at $150,000 for individuals and $200,000 for couples, the bill creates a monster of a marriage penalty.

The effects of such a massive tax hike on the economy is chilling in the extreme.
