Damn! That is going to leave a mark!

October 31, 2006

Jay Tea has a list of shameful democrat hypocrisy.
Some highlights:

1) Military service, and especially what one did or did not do during the Viet Nam war, is irrelevant when running for president. (1992, 1996)

2) What one did during the Viet Nam war is far more important than what one has done in the 30+ years since, when running for president. (2004)

7) A politician who allegedly says “nigger” in his college days is an irredeemable racist. (2004)

8) A former leader of the Ku Klux Klan who is still using the word “nigger” is not only an acceptable Senator, but should be considered a champion and lion of the Senate. (2001)

9) An arrest at the age of 30 for drunken driving brands someone an irredeemable alcoholic. (2000)

10) Driving a car into the water and leaving a woman to drown while trying to construct an alibi is an “unfortunate accident.” (1969)

Now this is really scary…

A self-inflicted wound…

Senator John Kerry (democrat-Taxachusetts) gave himself a healthy dose of foot in mouth today.

Ace has more, and more, and more.

No apology though.

Ace nails it: “In related news, the ghost of Genghis Khan issued a press release that stated “Vengeance is best served cold, and against an emaciated Thurston Howell wannabe.”

The best part is listening to the leftist extremists try to spin it.
He fucked up. Instead of coming out and admiting his mistake and moving on, Kerry is trying to lie his way out of it.
Here’s a News Flash. John Kerry is no Bill Clinton.

Senator McCain is extremly pissed and is calling for Kerry to buck up and play straight.

Update:Mary Kathrine Ham points out that this was not the first time Kerry has slammed the troops.

Update 2: It’s so obvious! John Kerry is a paid operative of Karl “Darth” Rove!

Setting the WayBack Machine…

…to eight years ago today, we find President William Jefferson Clinton signing the Iraq Liberation Act in law.
That legistation called for regime change in Baghdad.

Go read the whole thing, including Mr. Warner’s on target commentary:

The Iraq Liberation Act authorized Clinton to spend up to $98 million arming and training Iraq opposition groups. When he left office in January 2001, Clinton had spent almost none of the money. (Can you hear Chris Wallace? “Do you think you did enough, sir?”)

No surprise here…

It’s not just Chicago where the dead vote early and often.
According to the Poughkeepsie Journal:

…A new statewide database of registered voters contains as many as 77,000 dead people on its rolls, and as many as 2,600 of them have cast votes from the grave, according to a Poughkeepsie Journal computer-assisted analysis.

The Journal’s analysis of New York’s 3-month-old database is the first to determine the potential for errors and fraud in voting. It matched names, dates of birth and ZIP codes in the state’s database of 11.7 million voter registration records against the same information in the Social Security Administration’s “Death Master File.” That database has 77 million records of deaths dating back to 1937.

Democrats who cast votes after they died outnumbered Republicans by more than 4 to 1.

Emphasis added.

Right on schedule…

October 30, 2006

The far left extremists are caught in a Voter Fraud case, that of course won’t make much of a splash on the DNC/MSM.

Kansas City officials say this is the most irresponsible and extensive voter registration abuse in Missouri in the twenty five years they have been on the job with the Kansas City Board of Elections.

That’s saying a lot considering there were 16 convictions of election crimes since 2004 in the St. Louis area alone!

Already the Republican Party of Missouri has filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission against ACORN due to this video posted at PubDef blog in St. Louis. The video shows ACORN employees who claim that they were told by ACORN to solicit votes for Democratic Senatorial Candidate Claire McCaskill. The McCaskill Campaign claims it has nothing to do with ACORN or its registration drive.

There is more. Read the whole thing.

Half of citizens support stronger illegal immigration control…

October 30, 2006

A recent poll shows that 50% of those interviewed were “in favor of redoubling the police security in the [southern] border” and 51% wanted immigration from their neighbors to the south to diminish.

HT to Silent Running for this poll conducted in Mexico.

The poll showed “that only 5% of the Mexican population were in favor of a greater flow of immigrants of the countries of Central America.”
“In addition, 50% of the interviewed Mexicans were in favor of an increase in the police force that patrol the South border of the country, with Guatemala, where every year a good number of undocumented emigrants enter Mexico. “

Remember that Mexico uses their military to enforce its southern border and has a record of abuse against illegal aliens.

Meanwhile, in the Socialist paradise of France…

Politics Central reports:

As America prepares for Halloween, France is girding for a wave of attacks from Muslim youths—a reprise of the deadly French riots of last year.

A leaked French intelligence report warns that during the first week of November, a school holiday (Nov. 1 or All Saint’s Day), Muslim riots could convulse the country.

On Monday, Le Figaro, the leading center-right newspaper in the country, quoted a confidential report written by the Renseignements Généraux (RG), the French equivalent of the FBI. The 17-page RG report, dated 11 October, states that the root causes of last year’s riots are still in place. The authorities are especially concerned with All Saints Day when “many urban youths are left to their own and have more time to cause unrest.”

Not that France has been a peace since last year’s riots. In the past few weeks alone, several policemen were ambushed by youths who seemed intent on killing them. In response, the French Interior Ministry asked the police to keep a low profile and not to show themselves in the Muslim suburbs in order to avoid tension.

Since appeasement alone is not a strategy. French authorities are keeping a force of some 50,000 riot police in permanent stand-by.

In the first six months of this year there were 50,000 acts of urban violence by Muslims. On average 15 police officers, fire fighters or other public officials are attacked per day and 100 cars are set alight per night.

Gangs of immigrant vandals operate in a paramilitary fashion. A spokesman for the French police officers union, himself a policeman, has that France is in the midst of a “civil war.”

Interestingly, no public official said the union was exaggerating.
