Barak Obama isn’t a fan of the First Amendment either

Don’t expect much Freedom of Speech under an Obama regime. He is already giving a glimpse into our possible future by threating to bringing lawsuits against broadcast stations. This is to intimidate them into not running NRA sponsored ads that tell the truth about Obama’s anti-Civil Rights, Anti-Second Amendment record.

Why are liberals afraid to debate?

First you have Barak H. Obama going into hiding to avoid keeping his “promise” to debate Senator John McCain “anytime and anyplace.”

Next, you have Call me Ahab pointing out that leftist, anti-Civil Rights gun grabbers also fear any sort of open and honest debate. No surprise there.

You want to know the real reason why the pro-gun side is winning the battle for hearts and minds in the US – why over 70% of Americans believe that the 2nd Amendment confers and individual right to keep and bear arms, and why the Supreme Court upheld that?

A big part of it is that pro-gun people are willing to have open debate, right out there in the air. You can compare and contrast the fact that the Students for Concealed Carry’s first annual convention featured Paul Helmke. That’s righ, SCCC invited Helmke to be on one of their panels; admittedly he spent most of the time getting his ass handed to him by John Lott, but that’s okay. The fact that pro-gun people aren’t afraid of our positions and are more than willing to invite anti-gun activists to argue the issue on its merits speaks a lot about our movement.

Meanwhile, anti-gun people ban pro-gun activists from commenting, delete comments from their blogs, and generally avoid open debate like cockroaches avoid the light. I will give Paul Helmke props in that he was willing to attend that function, that was pretty out of character for an anti-gunner to do that.

The violent criminal’s friend, Barak Obama

Barak Obama Voted Four Times For Criminal Charges For Homeowners Who Use Their Guns In Self Defense.

Let’s review what this means. A criminal breaks into your home, threatens you, your spouse, your children. If you attempt to use an effective method of self-defense to protect you, your property, your spouse, or your children, liberal democrat Barak H. Obama wants you to be arrested and charged with a crime.

This is the true face of Barak H. Obama and the hard far left extremists. You are not a citizen, but a ward of the state, who should be dependent on the state for all things. You are not to be in control of anything, including the right to protect your own life and well being.

Of course, in his pursuit of power, Barak Obama lies about this:

Barack Obama specifically voted four times in the Illinois Legislature to allow criminal charges against a homeowner who used a firearm in self-defense of their person and home — specifically what the Supreme Court says is a constitutional right. Obama may say he supports it, but his record says exactly the opposite.

As Ms. Coulter said, “They win in the dark; we win in the light.”
