Republican Norm Coleman won a court case in the razor thin margin election there between him and democrat Al Franken (of the failed leftist Err America radio experiment) for the state’s senate race.
Nearly 5,000 rejected absentee ballots are now going to be counted. As you remember, getting absentee ballots, in particular, the absentee ballots of men and women serving in the US Military, thrown out on legal technicalities was a cornerstone of Algore’s attempt to steal the Florida election back in 2000.
Coleman was attempting to get 11,000 rejected absentee ballots counted. Franken’s attorneys fought to have nearly all the ballots thrown out.

Not for another station dropping the hard far left extremist liberal Err America feed, which is why they are typically in the news.
This goes back to their looting of Bronx charity to ease their cash flow problems.
According to the NY Post:
Evan Montvel-Cohen was picked up by border-patrol officers at Guam International Airport on an outstanding warrant from Hawaii. He had been indicted there last month for money laundering and the theft of more than $60,000 from a Honolulu landscaping firm, prosecutors said.
“We at DOI are not surprised to hear that Mr. Montvel-Cohen was arrested on theft and money-laundering charges,” said Rose Gill Hearn, commissioner of the city’s Department of Investigation, which probed the looting of the Gloria Wise Boys & Girls Club in Co-op City.
It was Montvel-Cohen who, as development director for Gloria Wise, convinced other club officials in 2003 and 2004 to give $875,000 of taxpayer money to the radio network where he was a top executive and co-founder.
He also received loans from the club of more than $45,000 that were never repaid.

My wife listens to Stephanie Miller in the morning. (Yes, I am in a mixed marriage.) SM sounds like she is trying to be Laura Ingraham, but without the talent and guests. I have never heard anyone substantial on her show. But, this is a paraphrase of one of her quotes regarding the immigration issue:
‘I don’t like to refer to them as “illegal immigrants.” Thats so dehumanizing. It’s not like they committed a crime and killed someone.’
You can’t make this stuff up.
My Comment:
The sad part is that Stephanie Miller was one of the better hosts on Err America. I used to listen to her for laughs before the format was pulled for not being able to draw enough listeners in the Boston area.

…of the utter failure of Err America over at Wizbang:
We believe that the publicly-funded festival of upper-middle class leftism known as National Public Radio (a.k.a. National Palestinian Radio) had more than a little to do with the Air America belly flop. So, if our rabid left-wing pals, irate over Air America’s manifest failure, want to point the finger of blame at anyone, perhaps they should tilt it in the direction of Uncle Sam. Or, at least, Garrison Keillor.
If you ask us, it’s a very simple matter. “Progressive” radio will inevitably have a tough time winning fans thanks to the popularity of NPR in left-liberal circles. Apparently, there are only so many tote bags you can own, only so many soporific radio personalities you can stomach.
As a result, if our lefty friends want to make another go of it on the FM dial, we suggest they do the following: Turn NPR into a fair-minded, balanced radio network, instead of a tax-payer-funded bone to rich liberals. Why do we doubt that they’ll trouble themselves to do that?
